We recommend the customer tests their camera, microphone and speaker/headphone before they join a web conference session.
After clicking Start a Video Call the customer will be presented with the below screen. Click “Run a pre-call test”, then “Start Test”


The customer must then allow Personal IT Help software to use the camera and microphone. Click “Allow”. You might need to do this several times, depending on your device settings.

The test will then proceed and, if successful, a screen like the below will appear.

In some cases you might get a screen like the below . It doesn’t usually mean the call can’t proceed, just that the quality will not be optimal.
